How do i know if this guy actually likes me?

If you prefer the way he is in texts to the way he is in real life, that's going to be a bit of a problem, unless, in texts, you can ask him about the total change in his attitude when you met in real life, and find out if that's just an act, or whether the text stuff is just an act.
