Should I take job with family member or not?

A few days ago my dad kept insinuating that I take a soon to be vacant office position working for my moms sister at the apartment complex where we all live. My moms sister is the the general manager of the complex where we actually reside. Anyway I am torn as to what I should do? This has completely hit me from nowwhere as my dad is very insistent that I work at the front office without regard for my own thoughts on the matter. Even my mother had some reservations about the idea. At this point i feel that my dad is trying to use me for his own gain since he allowed me to move into his apartment a year ago when i lost my job working at best buy. I have been going to community college and trying to secure a job in hospitality. The reality is that I am feeling alot of pressure because if i take the job then I will get free rent and it seems that is obvious what my dads intentions are. I understand that my dad may be getting short on work soon but I am not feeling this plan seeing as how my original direction when I came to live here a year ago was to eventually move on and get my own place. Anybody have any thoughts or experience working for a family member or what you would do in this situation? Im guessing my dad thinks im a freeloader and wants something in return? Im not lazy as i had a 7 year career in the hotel business prior to the retail thing. But i am looking to return to the hotel. I am 28 years old. Should I do it or not and what are the consequences?
