Our alpha dog attacks the other?

we have 4 female dogs. a 7 year german shorthair *(the attacker) and a 4 year queensland (the attacked) and two 8 month queensland puppies. The shorthair has attacked and almost killed the queensland twice. We think she is jealous of the puppies. Anyone have suggestions or experiences with this type situation? The queensland is always such a good dog otherwise. We were shocked she has done this. We want to keep all four. Thanks for any suggestions
