Why do some TTC women get so angry if a family member or friend gets pregnant?

Because they get so wrapped up in the "me, me." They are under the impression that life is zero-sum. Most women get over it; some don't. I have an almost 90 year old grandmother who could never have children naturally and even at her age, she treats every one of my pregnancies as a personal spite against her.
