You need to speak from your heart. You obviously feel strongly about it, I can tell, you turned to yahooanswers/complete strangers. haha. but no seriously, sit him down and tell him that you want to become a musician. I'm sure he'll understand. He loves you no matter what you are. That's what fathers are supposed to do. He might be a little upset at first, but he'll come to realize that whatever makes you happy is what you should do.
