I was attacked by a not very intelligent person in my living quarters?

If your local police department is anything like mine, there is really nothing you can do. Police in today's world expect every human being to have a video camera on them, charged, and ready to record 24/7 in case someone assaults, rapes, or robs from them. My sister was rapped a few years ago and the police said there was nothing that they could do because the attacker denied it and said it was consensual. It was his word against hers and instead of bothering to take the time to investigate the police told her to start carrying around a video camera in case something like that happened again. Police are not like they are on TV, they do not investigate anything and expect you to hand them everything on a silver platter before they will get off their *** to do anything.
