Husband wants to work two jobs for awhile?!?

My husband has been working a graveyard job that goes on a two week rotation (27 hours one week and 36 hours the next), so, three nights one week and four nights the following. Hes worked there for almost three years and loathes it. Hes been wanting a day job desperately! He finally found one, has a little less pay, but has room for growth in the company. It would be difficult for us to make ends meet on only that income if he were to quite his night job, and being as he's never really done this type of work, hes afraid to quit his night job. SO.... hes insisting on doing BOTH! He'll work 9-5 monday through friday and then work graveyard (one week monday and thursday nights before his other job, and then tuesday and wednesday nights before his other job). Im a little concerned for him because thats a lot of work, and I understand why he wants to do both for awhile (to make sure this new job pans out ok).... but wow... What do you think? Anyone else do this? Did it work out ok? How can I be 100% supportive of this? He seems so insistent he wants to do this and it means sooo much to him (hes been extremely happy about this new job). Im trying to be supportive. Im thinking the only way I can support him through this is to do everything around the house, have all meals prepared, pack him meals, have everything ready for work... Advice? Comments?
