Do pregnant women really get a craving for certain things during pregnancy?

Pregnancy impacts your hormones. Hormones in a woman pretty much control everything - including sexual urges. I believe she was being completely genuine although MANY women who are not pregnant have cravings for men in uniform. So it could also be something she has always desired.
