Confusing Relationship Situation - Thoughts please?

well sounds like he's just laid back, and set in his ways. u guys have a open relationship on his part, he feels like he's not satisfying u enough to the point he wants u to keep your options open. don't keep trying to convince him of anything, just go with it if u feel so strongly for him ok. he'll come around one day if u are still there.....
